Hi, my name is Jeff. I’m a pre-licensed mental health clinician working under supervision at Mosaic Counseling Center. I help men heal from unwanted sexual behavior.

Unsurprisingly, my approach to therapy is based on my own story. When I had trusted guides engage my story with curiosity and kindness, I found deeper freedom from my own compulsive behavior and also more satisfying relationships with God, myself, and others. I believe that when people experience care and presence as they engage stories of wounding from childhood, the healing journey unfolds.

In addition to story, my therapeutic approach is shaped by attachment theory, family systems, and polyvagal theory. From my Christian worldview, I seek to integrate what is best in psychology to help clients regulate their nervous systems, heal trauma, and flourish in their relationships.

I am certified in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from the Allender Center and received a Master’s in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Before becoming a therapist, I was a campus minister to graduate students and faculty. In my free time, I love hanging out with my family, hiking, and doing early-morning cold plunges.
